Day 2 – Beekeeper experience
An immersive day, designed for explorers of all ages, dedicated to discovering the world of bees. In the evocative historical setting of the Manie Plateau, among the fields of beehives, participants will have the opportunity to experience beekeeping first-hand. Guided by an expert in the field, they will wear protective suits to approach the hives in complete safety, coming into direct contact with the fascinating world of bees. An engaging sensory journey, made up of sounds, scents and observation: the constant buzzing in the air, the intense aromas of honey and wax, and the discovery of the meticulous work of these extraordinary insects. During the activity, all the stages of the “honey journey” will be illustrated: from the collection of nectar to its transformation, to the processing and preservation methods that preserve its quality and authenticity. The experience ends with a sweet break: a guided tasting of the hive’s products.
Day 3 – Trekking on the Manie Plateau
Meet with the guide and set off on a walking tour of the Altopiano delle Manie, one of the most evocative places in the Finale area. Among olive groves, the scents of Mediterranean scrub and spectacular views of the sea, the trek will be a journey through the nature and history of this authentic and surprising area. Free lunch and return for departure.
