Summer in the Castles

Three castles, one story.
In the summer of 2026, Finale Ligure will transform some of its most iconic sites into a vast open-air stage dedicated to music, theater, film, contemporary art, and immersive experiences.

And so “Summer in the Castles” was born—a new series of events that brings together Castel Gavone, Forte San Giovanni, and Castelfranco under a single calendar of events designed to bring the historical heritage of the Finale area to life in a contemporary, engaging way that is open to everyone.

Amid medieval walls, scenic ramparts, and fortresses overlooking the sea, residents and visitors can enjoy concerts under the stars, traveling theater performances, outdoor movies, guided tours, workshops, cultural events, and experiences focused on wellness, nature, and exploring the local area.
