AperiNenne in Fortezza
Happy hour and screenings of archival material dedicated to Nenne Sanguineti Poggi. A golden opportunity to discover a boundary-less artist and a museum beyond clichés.
Deborah Sanguineti, Nenne’s niece, has come all the way from the USA for this event, where we will collectively remember a special woman and an artist who was a key figure in Italian Modernism worldwide.
In 2024, a work by Nenne Sanguineti Poggi was selected and exhibited at the International Art Biennale of Venice.
After exhibitions in New York and Philadelphia, Milan, Genoa, Mantua, Savona, Nenne returns to her Finale where she spent the last part of her life in a new museum waiting to be discovered that we had the pleasure of setting up in April 2026, thanks to the support of Vincenzo Sanguineti and NSP Art USA and Italy, Franco Parisi, Luciana Bertorelli, the De Mari Foundation, the Municipality of Finale Ligure, and Mayor Angelo Berlangieri.
Appreciated by Vittorio Sgarbi, who dedicated an important critical contribution to her at the Milan conference in 2019, Nenne is an important female figure to remember, know, and enhance for the internationality of her art.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, August 6, for a seaside celebration on the terraces of the fortress in her memory with Deborah, many friends, and everyone who wants to discover the NSP MUSEUM.
