The Arene Candide Cave is one of the most important caves in Europe due to the famous discoveries made within it.

Through a guided tour led by archaeologists, you journey back in time, from today to approximately 30,000 years ago, retracing the fascinating research conducted over 150 years of archaeological studies and excavations.

Meeting Place

The meeting point is in front of the entrance to the archaeological site. The Arene Candide Cave is accessible on foot from the Borgio Verezzi train station.

Following the dedicated signs, continue along "Via della Cornice" until you reach the old Napoleonic Road, which leads directly to the archaeological site's gate. The entire walk takes about a half-hour to forty minutes.

Pricing Information Participation fee: €10.00 per person. Reduced ticket €5.00 per person (for children under 10 years old, seniors over 65, IISL members, ICOM members, Italian Touring Club members, university students with a valid ID card).

Visitors of the Cave with a full-price ticket will be able to visit the Archaeological Museum of Finale at a reduced rate (€3.00).

Payment is possible in cash directly to the guide.
