Perti: a journey between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance

The area of Perti, located in the immediate inland of Finale, is set in a charming landscape context where naturalistic aspects combine with important archaeological and architectural testimonies related to the medieval organization of the territory and the dynasty of the Marquises Del Carretto.

The path starts from the suggestive Romanesque crypt of Saint Eusebius of Perti (11th century) and continues with a visit to the Church of Our Lady of Loreto (or “of the Five Bell Towers”) and that of Saint Sebastian of Perti, splendid examples of 15th-century Renaissance architecture in Liguria, usually closed to visitors.
