Castel Gavone, located on a hill behind Finalborgo, is the symbolic monument of Finale.
The castle, built in the 12th century, has always been the residence of the Del Carretto Marquises.
The visit, guided by an archaeologist, allows you to discover the various phases of development of the monument from the Middle Ages to the Modern Age, including the beautiful Terre dei Diamanti, one of the most important examples of Renaissance fortified architecture in Italy.
