On Saturday, May 2nd, we will take you to discover the beautiful Val Ponci, an untouched corner where the charm of nature intertwines with the traces of ancient Roman civilization.
We will walk along the ancient Via Iulia Augusta, crossing five stone bridges that, after over 2000 years, still stand with extraordinary elegance.
The excursion will also lead us to the fascinating Roman Quarries: three imposing galleries carved into the rock, a testimony to an intense extraction activity that contributed to the construction of important works of that era.
The second part of the route offers even more intense emotions: after a stop at the mysterious Ciappo del Sale, with its enigmatic rock carvings, we will ascend to the summit of Rocca di Corno (313 m). From here, the view opens up to a spectacular panorama that embraces Finale and stretches to Gallinara Island.
An excursion perfect for those who love to walk, explore, and be captivated by history.
