Urban trekking is a practice that combines the desire to discover cultural, landscape, and architectural beauties with the good habit of walking on foot.
Walking along a stretch of the ancient Strada Beretta, we will reach the spectacular Castel San Giovanni, a defensive structure built in the first half of the 17th century. Transformed into a prison in the 19th century, we will be able to explore the interior spaces and discover an ancient kitchen, overhanging watchtowers, and the cells, featuring curious engravings made during the time it was used as a prison.
