11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: the workshop allows participants to discover the rich world of rock art signs and engravings, of which the Finalese area offers some of the most important testimonies in Liguria. Like ancient stone carvers from the Metal Age, children will engage in creating an engraving using stone tools, and at the end of the activity, each child will take home their own artifact.

5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.: through the technique of weaving, participants will create a raffia necklace, to which they will attach a pendant by wrapping a copper wire. The students will be inspired by some examples found in archaeological sites from the Metal Age, known as “double spiral” pendants. At the end of the activity, everyone will take home their own creation as a memento of the experience.
