Flash
“FLASH,” an exhibition that brings together works of painting, sculpture, and photography created by the Plasticienne Artist Faé A. Djéraba.
The exhibition is configured as a sequence of visual “illuminations” capable of stimulating the audience towards a layered reading, where the artist’s sophisticated aesthetics merge with historical reworking and social commitment.
The path, within the Gallery, has been created as a harmonious passage, a cutting-edge and contemporary language, in the immediacy of the photographic act and the gaze, but also the lightning speed of thought, perception, and denunciation.
Through avant-garde works, ranging from symmetric compositions and image doubling to interventions on vintage printed papers, Faé A. Djéraba proposes a profound reflection on the relationship between past and present, text and image, freedom, oppression, and identity.
