Winner of the Inventaria Festival, part of the Sspirali network, which connects the Teatro dell’Ortica and the Teatro Garage in Genoa, the Teatro Sipario Strappato in Arenzano, the Cattivi Maestri in Savona, and the Teatro delle Udienze, funded by the Liguria Region.

Overwhelmed by a sense of powerlessness in the face of the bias of the media and frightened by the prospect of a new world war, Diego decides to take an extreme action: to kidnap the well-known journalist Paolo Mieli.
The difficulties he will encounter as a novice terrorist will be various and unexpected: from finding a way to convey his reasons to the media, to how to prepare a soy cappuccino to address Paolo Mieli’s lactose intolerance. Things
will take an unexpected turn when, following an uncontrollable geopolitical reaction, the kidnapping of Paolo Mieli will bring the world to the brink of a global conflict. In an attempt to stop the military escalation he accidentally triggered, Diego will uncover the sordid web that ties the press to political and financial power.

As can be inferred, the show is a Horatian satire, where the crescendo of absurdity in the protagonist’s experiences always aims to unmask some aspects of contemporary Western society. A one-man show that winks at stand-up comedy, while never renouncing storytelling and the various expressive means that theater offers to convey content and experiences.
