Perti: a journey between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance
The area of Perti, in the immediate inland of Finale, is set in an enchanting landscape context where natural aspects combine with important archaeological and architectural testimonies related to the medieval organization of the territory and the dynasty of the Del Carretto marquises.
The route starts from the picturesque Romanesque crypt of Sant’Eusebio di Perti (11th century) and continues with a visit to the church of Nostra Signora di Loreto (or “of the Five Bell Towers”) and that of San Sebastiano di Perti, splendid examples of 15th-century Renaissance architecture in Liguria, usually closed to visitors.
